Patient Rules
THE OTHERSIDE FARMS private collective is a mutual benefit/non-profit
corporation abiding within all the laws governed by the
State of California. We are a corporation who facilitates
the collaborative efforts of patients and members –
including the allocation of costs and revenues. We do not
purchase marijuana, or any other cannabis products from, or
sell to, non-members; instead, we only provide a means for
facilitating or coordinating transactions between our
members.
Open Membership
Membership will be open to all persons who (a) join the
Collective by signing the Collective Membership Application
and Agreement in the form prescribed by the Board of
Directors of the Chairman of the Board, (b) demonstrate
willingness to abide by and uphold Collective's spirit and
rules and (c) provide a physician's recommendation that the
applying individual qualifies as a "qualified patient" or
"primary caregiver" as defined and legally authorized by the
laws of (i) the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 and (ii) SB
420. A reference as a "member" shall not constitute
anyone as a member within the meaning of Corporations Code
section 5056 unless these bylaws have been amended to
specifically authorize such members. Absent such
specific authorization, all rights that would otherwise vest
under Nonprofit Corporation Law in the members shall vest in
the Directors. The protocol at THE
OTHERSIDE FARMS is as follows:
When you call in for the first time you will need to have
readily available your recommendation and ID. There will be
NO discussion of any industry specific items until you are
verified as a current medical marijuana patient. For
verification purposes you will be asked:

and last name

Date of birth
-
Current address
-
Contact phone
number – and weather it is ok to identify ourselves when
calling

Doctors Full name
and license number
-
Issue and
expiration of your recommendation
-
Last visit to your
recommending doctor
-
Contact
information for verifying your recommendation with your
doctor
You will be verified
and phoned back promptly and transferred to the appropriate
department depending on your needs.
Please note that submission does not
guarantee membership and OTHERSIDE FARMS reserves
the right to refuse service to anyone.
